Polynesian Steak
This a one good steak recipe. Especially if you have learned to love grilled fruit. My first encounter with grilled pineapple was in Brazil. I could never imagine how good it could be. It is now my favorite fruit done on the grill and can be done multiple ways, but this one pairs up fruit and steak how can you go wrong?
Ingredients:
1 can of sliced pineapple
3 Tb soy sauce
1 Tb honey
1 clove of garlic (minced)
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
1 2 1/2lb London Broil
Directions:
Mix the juice from the sliced pineapple (save the pineapple), soy sauce, honey, garlic, and red pepper flakes into a large ziploc bag. Place London Broil in the bag and marinate over night. Grill 8-10 minutes per side or until desired doneness. During the last 8 minutes, place the sliced pineapple on the grill and cook both sides. Serve on top of the steak.
