Who doesn't like cobbler done in the dutch oven. The following is a simple quick recipe that will please any one.
Ingredients:
1 yellow cake mix
2 15oz cans of peaches
1 cup of frozen raspberries
1 can of Sprite
cinnamon
Directions:
Dump the fruit in the bottom of the dutch oven. Then pour the dry cake mix evenly over the fruit. Pour the entire can of sprite over the cake mix. Sprinkle cinnamon over the top of the cake. Cook in the dutch oven 8-10 coals on the bottom 12-15 on top. Cook 25-30 minutes or until it smells done. Honestly a good nose is the best way to know if it's done. The cobbler will look kind of doughy and just start to brown on top. Serve with ice cream.
Notes:
Countless varieties can be done this way yellow cake/pineapple, white cake/cherry, spice cake/apple, white cake/blueberry
